Everett Randall Kelly, age 76, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.  He was born September 13, 1947 at Lotts Creek, KY and was the son of the late Oscar and Hazel (Taylor) Kelly.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter:  Teresa Faye McFarland.  His sister:  Violet Roark.  Everett was a member of the Lower Quicksand United Baptist Church.  A retired US Army Veteran.  He enjoyed helping his wife Janice,  his work and he especially enjoyed traveling.  He is survived by his wife:  Janice Carpenter Kelly of Jackson, KY.  His brother: Timothy Kelly of Lotts Creek, KY.  His sister: Joyce Lynn of Somerset, KY.  Three grandchildren:  Christine Sain, Elizabeth Sain and Roger Sain.  His special pet friend:  Trumpy Cat.   He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Harry Hale officiating.  Burial in Jackson Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
