So sad to hear this. Oh the wonderful Memories at Buckhorn High School.. You cannot think of Buckhorn without thinking of Mr. Sandlin. Praying for his family and friends.

Before graduating from Berea Foundation, I attended Buckhorn School with Eugene up to about the 7th grade. Heaven is overflowing with all the love for him. My memory of him is a loving & kind young person to everyone. 🙏 My prayers to his family & friends

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Sandlin's passing. He was our neighbor down the river for a long time when he lived next to Burt, Alpha, and their daughters , before he moved to Buckhorn. I remember him as a wonderful neighbor; a gentle, good-hearted, kind, and generous man. Prayers for the family, seeing Eugene's picture brings back memories from long time ago, Lawrence Feltner was my dad, we always loved visiting down at Buckhorn with the family.
