Eugene “Bo” Moore, age 64, of West Liberty, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in Florida. Eugene was born April 11, 1952 in Jackson, KY. He was preceded in death by his mother: Vesta Moore and brother-in-law: Johnny Herald. He is survived by his wife: Linda (Barnett) Moore of West Liberty, KY; with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. Father: Howard Moore of Jackson, KY. His son, Rodney Moore and daughter-in- law Beth Moore of Harrodsburg, KY. Daughter: Angie Barnett of Jackson, KY. Two sisters: Brenda (Brown) Strong of Jackson, KY. Mary Lou Herald of Jackson, KY. Two brothers: Daniel Ray (Dana) Moore of Jackson, KY and Dennis (Teresa) Moore of Jackson, KY. Proud Papaw of three grandsons: Brendon Moore, Gary Ray Barnett and Alex Moore. Two nieces: Shana Gail Moore and Faith Moore. Four nephews: Johnny Clay Herald, Bradley Herald, James Strong and Brian Strong. A host of great nieces and nephews. Eugene was proud of his 37 year career as a heavy equipment operator for various coal companies in Kentucky and West Virginia. He retired on the beaches near Palmetto, Florida where he and Linda spent winter months together. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home in Jackson, KY. A BALLOON RELEASE will be observed for family and friends at 1:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
