Effie (Johnson) Raleigh Begley, age 91, of Altro, KY passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Hazard ARH.-She was born February 9, 1928 at Altro, KY and was the daughter of the late Bobby and Susanna (Baker) Johnson.-She was preceded in death by her first husband: Cale Raleigh.-Two sons: Baby C. Raleigh and Paul Raleigh.-One grandson: James Frederick Barger.-Three sisters: Isabella Adams, Dahlia Deaton and Malinda White.-Four brothers: Johnny Johnson, Will Johnson, Wilson Johnson and Henry Johnson.- She is survived by her husband: Kelly Begley of Altro, KY-Three daughters: Betty Jo Raleigh and Rosa Noble of Altro, KY-Martha (Thomas) Herald of Wolfcoal, KY-Four sons: James (Eula) Raleigh, Robert Raleigh and Luther Raleigh of Altro, KY-Cale (Grace) Raleigh of Verona, KY-One sister: Saley (Junior) Spicer of Altro, KY-Nine granddaughters: Betty Turner, Mayme Turner, Jennifer Turner, Liz Campbell, Lisa Turner, Michelle Deaton and Cayla Raleigh, Haylin Roberts and Mikah Roberts. -Four grandsons: Terry Raleigh, William Herald ,Chris Raleigh and James Roberts-She is also survived by a host of great and great grandchildren.-Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Noon at the Altro Church of God with Chris Turner and Bobby Kearns officiating.-Burial in the Raleigh Cemetery at Wolfcoal, KY.-Visitation will begin on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the church.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
