Edward Dean Clay, 76, of Lost Creek, KY passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021, at the Lee County Nursing Home in Beattyville, KY.-He was born July 28, 1944, in Breathitt County and was the son of the late Sam Combs and Clara Haddix Combs. -He was a retired employee of R.J. Corman Railroad.- He liked to play softball, pool leagues, and hunt squirrels and rabbits.-He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Price Clay and Edgar Combs.-One sister: Janice Combs.-His long-time companion: Lillie Mae Brewer.- Survived by a daughter: Deanna Clay Martin of Owosso, MI.- One son: Shannon Clay of MI. -Three brothers: Ernest (Margaret) Combs of Lost Creek, KY-Arthur Lee Combs (Sue) of Vancleve, KY.- Anderson Combs (Vickie Isom) of Jackson, KY.-Sisters in law: Cathy Clay and Sharon Combs.-Stepsons: Victor (Joyce) Brewer; Harlos (Alma) Brewer: Randall (Stephanie) Brewer; Steve (Cricket) Brewer.- -A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren., nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.-Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with David Haddix officiating.-Burial in Jackson Cemetry.-Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-
