Edward Daughtery, age 85, of Lost Creek, KY passed away on Saturday 13, 2024 at his residence due to a house fire.  He was born July 6, 1938 in Grundy, VA and was the son of the late Frances Marion and Rossie Blankenship Daughtery.  He was preceded also in death by his wife: Viola Daughtery.  His seven brothers:  Walter, Lazarus, Leo, Fonso, Lloyd Garland, William and Pricy Daughtery.  His three sisters:  Florie, Dolly and Heihettie Daughtery.  He is survived by two sons:  Frances (Lisa) Daughtery of Winchester, KY and Russell Frank (Karen) Daughtery of Jackson, KY.  Two daughters: Peggy Daughtery (Rick) of Lost Creek, KY and Sherry Bocska of Lexington, KY.  Three brothers:  Clint Daughtery of IN; Roger Daughtery of Pikeville, KY and Russell Daughtery of Grundy, VA.  A special grandson: Jonathan (Kristie) Daughtery of Lost Creek, KY.  Special friends: Sherman and Marie Noble.  Three special grandchildren: Halee Daughtery, Chyna Daughtery, Karen (Henry) Johnson.    Three special great grandchildren:  Adreannia Daughtery; Zackarii Daughtery, Elijah Daughtery.  He is also survived by a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  A celebraton of life and memorial service will be held at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel,  Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 3:00 pm with Jerry Henson officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until time of service.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
