Douglas James “Bo” Smith, age 57, of Vancleve, KY gained his heavenly wings on Monday, July 10, 2017 at his residence.–He was born April 18, 1960 in Campton, KY.–He was preceded in death by one daughter: Bridget Sherry Smith.-One sister: Virginia Darlene Smith.–He is survived by his dear wife of 37 years: Dana Gale (King) Smith.-His Devoted Mother: Kathy Buck of Fairville, OH:–His Caring Father: Ray Smith of Fortville, IN.:–Three beautiful daughters: Linda Salyers (Clarence Ritchie) of Jackson, KY.–Justina (Sherman) Taulbee of Vancleve, KY.–Christina (Bobby) Taulbee of Vancleve, KY.–One loving son: James Douglas Smith of Jackson, KY.–One sister: Carmie Ann (Richard) Ma of Weschester, OH;- One brother: Ernie “Bobbie” Smith of Ingals, IN.–Eleven wonderful grandchildren; three great grandchildren with another great grandchild on the way: Michael (Samantha) Hays, Cheyanne (Dylan) Burton, Raven Taulbee (Samuel Turner); Timothy Taulbee, Jordan Taulbee, Anthony Taulbee, Zachary Taulbee, Carson Taulbee, Carly Taulbee, Dorothy Ann Taulbee, Katherine Taulbee:–One extraordinary Friend (Like a Daughter), Etta Sue Godsey.–He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.–Funeral services will be Friday, July 14, 2107 at 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Barnett officiating.–Burial will be in the Clear Fork Cemetery, Frozen Creek, Vancleve, KY.– Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. with additional services at 7:00 p.m.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Active Pallbearers; Michael Hays, Dylan Burton, Bobby Taulbee, Sherman Taulbee, Clarence Ritchie, James smith, Timothy Taulbee, Zachary Taulbee, Carson Taulbee, Jordan Taulbee and Anthony Taulbee.–Honorary Pallbearers: Ray Smith, Ernie Smith, Logan Smith, JR, Dexter Howard.
