Dora Fugate McIntosh, age 88, of Jackson, KY departed this life Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Landmark of Breathitt Nursing Facility.  She was the widowed wife of Steve McIntosh and the daughter of the late Jerry and Edna Parks Fugate.  Dora was preceded in death by two sons: Earl McIntosh and Steve Randall McIntosh.  Six brothers:  Elwood Fugate, James Fugate, Frank Fugate, Ervine Fugate, Roy Fugate, Walter Fugate.  One sister: Janet Fugate.  Dora is survived by one daughter: Mary Watkins of Jackson, KY.  Four sons:  David (Lena) McIntosh of Jackson, KY; Claude (Anita) McIntosh of Stanton, KY; Phillip (Lisa) McIntosh of Berry, KY and Estill (Laura) McIntosh of Jackson, KY.  Two sisters:  Cassie Banks of Jackson and Easter Mercer of Cave City, KY.  Four brothers:  Willie Fugate of Beattyville, KY, Wardie Fugate, Vernon Fugate, Donald Fugate all of Jackson, KY.  Ten grandchildren:  Dorothy (Wayne) Fugate, Stephanie (Delmon) Little, Earl Steven (Jennifer) Young, Randall McIntosh, Debra Renee (Jason) Fugate, Salena (Jaron) Ruth, Amanda (Greg) Wallace, Hunter Tolliver, Estill Scott (Jessica) McIntosh, Crystal McIntosh, William McIntosh.  Twenty-one great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.  Two special nephews:  John McIntosh and Roger Gabbard.  Dora was a devoted Christian for over 70 years and a member of the Old Regular Free Pentecostal Church for over 60 years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and her family will always cherish her memory.  Funeral services will be held on her and her son Claude’s birthday, Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Lansaw officiating.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 pm.  Burial in the Steve McIntosh Family Cemetery, Panbowl Hill, Jackson, KY.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
