Donnie Filmore Shouse, age 75, of Jackson, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and a retired Amtech Communications employee.   He was born March 20, 1949 at Cane Creek in Breathitt County and was the son of the late Berry and Haney Stamper Shouse.  He was also preceded in death by his wife: Ardella Shouse.  His brothers:  Clyde Shouse, Willie Shouse, Benny Shouse, Charlie Shouse, Berry Shouse Jr, John Shouse and Alex Shouse. His sisters:  Thedas Shouse and Annabell Shouse.   He is survived by his son: Donnie R. Shouse of Jackson, KY.  His daughter:  Della D. Shouse of Mount Sterling, KY.  His two brothers:  Ernest (Jeanette) Shouse and Kenneth Shouse, both of Jackson, KY.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Estill Barnett officiating.   Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service.   Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
