Donald Edward Hamilton, SR, age 92, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at his daughter’s residence at Clayhole, KY.– He was born January 25, 1925 in Chicago, IL and was the son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Dyer) Hamilton. — He was preceded in death by his wife: Virginia A. Hamilton. — Two sons: Donald Edward Casssata and Russell Rosales. — He is survived by three daughters: Bonnie York of FL; Betty Meitzler of Louisville, KY; Shirley Fugate of Clayhole, KY;– One son: Donald Edward Hamilton, JR of Jackson, KY. –Three close grandchildren: George Gobel Fugate, Dawn Fugate and Nancy Campbell. — Two close great grandchildren: Kayla Campbell and Virginia Campbell.– One special great- great grandchild: Isabella McKinney. –He is also survived by seven more grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren –A host of other relatives and friends.–Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Eldon Miller officiating. –Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday until time of service.–Remains to be interred at the George Fugate Family Cemetery, Clayhole, KY. –Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
