Dewey Lewis, age 61, of Jackson, KY passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 at KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. He was born April 2, 1955 in Booneville, KY and was the son of the late Bryant and Faye (Caudill) Lewis. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Marie Pelfrey and Elizabeth Gabbard. One brother: Arvis Joe Lewis. He is survived by his wife: Thelma (Herald) Lewis of Jackson, KY. One daughter: Rebecca Southers of Jackson, KY. One son: Dewey Dewayne (Ruby) Lewis of Jackson, KY. One sister: Janice Lewis of Booneville, KY. One brother: Delbert (Sandy) Lewis of Booneville, KY. Two grandchildren: Julia Southers and Sarah Southers. A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Taulbee officiating.
