Deloris Frances Turner, age 69, of Buckhorn,KY passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. She was born August 11, 1954 in Lee County, KY and was the daughter of the late William and Edna Herald Hobbs. She was preceded also in death by her husband; John Vernon Turner. One brother: Ralph Hobbs and one sister: Virginia Hobbs. Deloris was a retired cook for the Buckhorn Childrens Center and at the dairy bar in the Buckhorn community. She is survived by two sons: John Anthony (Kristy) Turner of Buckhorn, KY and Jeremy ( Andra) Turner of Hazard, KY. Two sisters: Patty Hobbs of Buckhorn, KY and Sylvia Kiley of Austin, IN. One brother: William Hobbs of Cold Springs, KY. Four grandchildren: Justice Turner, Zachary Turner, Chasity Turner, Landon Turner. Two great grandchildren: Axle Turner and Atticus Turner. She is also survived by a host of other family and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Pete Youmans officiating. Burial in the Government Cemetery at Buckhorn, KY. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 11:00 am until time of service. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
