Delmar Ray Hounshell, age 71, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.-He was born February 22, 1948 in Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Russell and Lillie (Haddix) Hounshell.- He was a retired heavy equipment operator, school bus driver and county road crew employee.- He is survived by his wife: Rose (Robertson) Hounshell of Jackson, KY-Two daughters: Annette (Ronnie) Coomer of Jackson, KY-Tina Jones of Gallatin, TN-One sister: Shirley (Roger) Griffith of Alexandria, KY.-Three grandchildren: Amber Ritchie, Adrianna Coomer and Brady Coomer.-One niece: Danielle (Jay) Yelton.-Two Special Buddies: Tiko and Kipper.- He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Driskill officiating.-Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. until time of service.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
