Debbie Sue Gross, age 62, of Canoe, KY passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the KY River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.  She was born April 1, 1961 in Yysilanti, MI.  She was preceded in death by her mother: Dorothy Clay Cornett and step father: Luther Cornett.    She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Gross of Canoe, KY.  One son: Jimmy “Bubba” (Tiffany) Gross of Jackson, KY.  Four  daughters: Sheena Marshall and Andrea (Joey) Misner of Hazard, KY;  Elisha (Timothy) Frederick of Jackson, KY, Christina (Derrick) VanLaere of Jackson, MI.  Four sisters: Sally (David) Dyson, Cecilia Boulanger, Brenda Lindlbaure of MI and JoAnn Clay of TN.   One half brother: Kevin Clay of TN.   Ten grandchildren:  Emily Marshall, Aaliyah Neace, Phoebe Neace, Hailey Frederick, Naomi Frederick, Riley Gross, Remington Gross, James Oaks, Zachary James (Marry) Lewis, Michelle Winter (Felix) Lewis.  Three  great grandchildren: Olivia Hope Lewis, Hailey Grey Lewis, and Dante Warren.   She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie McIntosh officiating.   Visitation will begin on Saturday at 11:00 am.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
