Cora Marie Spicer, age 96, of Taylor, MI and formerly of Breathitt County passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 in Dearborn, MI.-She was born February 23, 1923 in Barwick, KY and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Katherine (Bryant) Spicer.-She was preceded in death by her husband: Johnnie Spicer.-Two daughters: Margie Evelyn Johnson and Beulah Jean Herald.-One son: Sam B. Spicer.-She is survived by four daughters: Lorraine (Woodrow) Haddix and Yvonne Spicer (Archie Hudson) of Tallega, KY- Charlotte (Frank) Canterbury of Taylor, MI-Jennifer (George) Phykala of Canton, MI.-Two sons: Verdie Spicer of Taylor Michigan-John Spicer, JR of Lincoln Park, MI-One brother: Robert (Blanche) Spicer of Franklin, OH.-Twenty-six grandchildren and a host of great- grandchildren.-Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Finley officiating.-Burial in the Jackson Cemetery.-Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
