Charlie Sylvester Hollon, age 71, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Hazard ARH. He was born December 19, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN and was the son of the late Paul Hollon and Nellie Lucille Daniels Hollon. He was preceded also in death by his daughter: Brenda Marie Hollon. He is survived by his wife: Roxie Spencer Hollon of Jackson, KY. Two sons: Charlie Hollon, Jr of IL and Joseph Hollon of Jackson, KY. Two daughters: Lucille Smith and Leann Cronin of Jackson, KY. Two grandchildren: Kassidy Hollon and Timothy Smith. Two great grandchildren: Gabriel Smith and Addison Smith. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Finley officiating. Burial in Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 pm. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
