Charles Randell Greer, age 80, of Jackson, KY (known affectionately as “Charlie Brown” ) passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Owsley County Health Care Center in Booneville, KY.  He was born August 15, 1943 in Hazard, KY and was the son of the late Charles and Augustine Smith Greer.  He is survived by a special friend: Frank Turner of Jackson, KY and many other friends in Jackson.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Noon at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with John Bunn officiating.   Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service. Burial in the Hollan Cemetery at Canoe, KY.  Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
