Cecil Ed Turner, age 84, of Butterpoint Road, Canoe, KY passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. –He was born March 15, 1933 at Talbert, KY and was the son of the late William H. and Golia (Griffith) Turner.–He was preceded in death by three sisters: Arminda Turner, Ann Ola Turner, Martha Resa Turner. — Two brothers: Paul Turner, C.A. Turner.–He was a retired US Postmaster and US Army Veteran. –He is survived by his wife: Mary Hazel Turner of Canoe, KY. –Three daughters: Susan (Bill) Palmer of Berea, KY. Karen Gail Caudill (late Billy Ray Caudill) of Canoe, KY.-GG (Gregg) Simon of Stanton, KY. -One son: Eddie (Brenda) Turner of Scott Depot, WVA. –Three sisters: Wilma Jane (Patrick) Turner of Sebastians Branch, KY.-Grace Wanda (Sammie) Turner of Booneville, KY.-Mary Velma Sebastian of Covington, KY.–Four brothers: Jay Turner of Hazard, KY. Wilburn Turner of Newport, KY.-Jasper (Wanda) Turner of Canoe, KY.-William Alfred (Rosa) Turner of Canoe, KY.–Seven grandchildren; Five great grandchildren. Special friends: T.L.
