Carl (Scrub) Miller, age 73, of Wayland, KY and formerly of Breathitt County passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his residence.-He was born April 21, 1945 in Breathitt County and was the son of the late Johnie and Audrey (Mullins) Miller.-He was the former pastor of the South Fork United Baptist Church.-He was preceded in death by two sisters: Kansie Collins Marshall and Dephia Miller Fraley.-Two brothers: Lee Collins and Johnie Miller, Jr.-He is survived by his wife: Vivian (Noble) Miller of Wayland, KY.-Two daughters: Starr Kay Miller of Jackson, KY and Misty Rose Miller of Hazard, KY.- One son: Anthony Wayne Prater.-One grandson: Kaysen Stark Miller.-Four sisters: Helen (Arnold) Miller of Madisonville, TN-Daisy (Jr) Barnett of Jackson, KY-Lillian (Rudolph) Fraley of Jackson, KY; Rita Faye (John) Burnsworth of Laketon, IN.-One brother: Ben (Barbara) Miller of Clayhole, KY.-He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and special caregivers.-Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Fork United Baptist Church, Hwy 1098, Jackson, KY with Virgil Noble and Lewis Stacy officiating.-Burial in the Marshall and Noble Cemetery at Little Buckhorn, Noble, KY-Visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at the church.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers:  Family and Friends.
