Carl Raleigh, age 69, of Wolfcoal, KY passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.–He was born September 9, 1948 at Wolfcoal, KY and was the son of the late Sammie and Sarah (Herald) Raleigh.–He was preceded in death by one sister and brother in law: Carlene and Bruce Hera.d.–Five brothers: Ervine Raleigh, Charlie Raleigh, Verdie Raleigh, Vernis Raleigh and Virgil Raleigh.–He is survived by five sisters: Pearlie Raleigh of Newport, KY-Charles Elizabeth Deaton of Covington, KY-Sharon Herald  of Wolfcoal, KY-Juanita (Alex) Turner of Wolfcoal, KY-Janis (Wayne) Raleigh of Wolfcoal, KY-Six brothers: Clyde (Reba) Raleigh of Newport, KY–Don (Carol) Raleigh–Sammie (Ruth) Raleigh–Darrell (Tamala) Raleigh-Leonard (Theresa) Raleigh all of Wolfocal, KY.-Kenneth (Emma) Raleigh of Gallitan County, KY–He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.–Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Willie John Turner and Jesse Hall, JR officiating.–Burial in the Raleigh Family Cemetery at Wolfcoal, KY–Visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
