C.J. Adams, age 71, of Altro, KY passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY.-He was born May 16, 1948, in Beach, KY and was the son of the late Chester and Isabelle (Johnson) Adams, JR.-He was also preceded in death by one daughter: Carla Kaye Adams.-Two sisters: Susan Jane Turner and Cora Jean Adams.-One brother: John Adams.-He is survived by one daughter: Paula Sue Adams of Hamilton, OH.-One son: Charles (Janice) Adams of Newport, KY-Two sisters: Helen Mullins of Chavies, KY; Barbara (Earl) Mays of Booneville, KY.-One brother: Tommy (Tootie) Adams of Hazard, KY.-Two aunts: Cindy Molands and Sally Spicer.-Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altro Church of God, Altro, KY with Chris Turner and Buddy Johnson officiating.-Burial in the Adams Family Cemetery, Bowling Creek Road, Altro, KY.-Visitation will begin at the Altro Church of God on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
