Brian Jason Smith, age 39, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, in Jackson, KY.-He was born October 7, 1981, in Lexington, KY.-He was a US Veteran of the KY Army National Guard serving in Iraq.-He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Walter and Deloise McIntosh; Paternal grandparents: Ernest and Aileen Smith.- He is survived by his parents: Kenneth and Rita Smith of Jackson, KY.-Two daughters: Taylor Renee Smith of Jackson, KY and Indy Nyk Brown of Jackson, KY; One son: Asher Jace Smith of Mt. Sterling, KY; One sister: Crystal (Jarrod) Harris of Indianapolis, IN. One brother: Brandon Smith of Jackson, KY.-A special niece: Mattaline Smith of Jackson, KY.-Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Shepherd and Mike Tabor officiating.-Burial in the Seldon Haddix Cemetery, Hounshell Road, Wolverine, KY.-Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00-9:00 pm. at the funeral home.-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.-COVID-19 regulations to be observed.
