She was my aunt but seemed more like my older sister. She was only six years older than me. I remember so well how she would let me use her fingernail polish and lipstick when I was little. I thought that was really something. I remember when she and Charles first started dating and she would say how handsome he was. Charles was a good husband to her and a good father to their children. Brenda suffered through a great tragedy when she was only 17 years old and it would change the rest of her life. But she survived to go on and have her own family. She was a hard worker and a good wife to Charles and a good mother to her children. She has earned her rest. I wish she could have stayed with us a while longer but that was not for us to decide. I will miss her.
