Bobbie Jean (Salyers) Prater, age 48, of Jackson, KY passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at her residence in Jackson, KY.-She was born July 21, 1971, in Hanover, PA.-She was preceded in death by her mother: Iva Fern Haddix Salyers.-Paternal grandparents: Johnny and Josephine Salyers and maternal grandparents: Russell and Hattie Turner Haddix.-She is survived by one daughter: McKenzie Prater of Jackson, KY.-Her father: Bob Salyers of Jackson, KY.-One sister: Jamie Salyers of Jackson, KY.-One brother: Chris Salyers of Jackson, KY.-Two special nieces: Kristina and Kaleigh Salyers of Jackson, KY.-Two special nephews: Chris “Bub” Salyers of Jackson, KY and Blake Robinson of Hyden, KY.-She is also survived by a host of special family and friends.-Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Finley officiating.-Burial in the Haddix Family Cemetery, Haddix Fork Road, Jackson, Ky.-Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m-Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
