Andrew Jackson Granville Arrowood, age 82, of Newport, KY passed away on Wednesday,  January 17, 2024 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY.  He was born July 27, 1941 at Canoe, KY and was preceded in death by his father: Rev. John Henry Arrowood and his mother: Elizabeth Ann Stamper Arrowood.  He was preceded also in death by his fifteen siblings.  Alfred Arrowood, Mae Mayes, Levisa Arrowood Watts, Roger Arrowood, Newton Arrowood, Mima Jane Arrowood Combs, John Henry Arrowood, Jr. Hillard Arrowood, Emiline Arrowood Stamper, Laura B,. Arrowood, William Arrowood, Rosa Turner, Easter Stamper, Sarah Sebastian, Mary M. Turner.     He is survived by his wife: Theadus Spicer Arrowood of Newport, KY.  Two sons:  Ronnie B. (Gennie) Arrowood of Ft. Thomas, KY and Andy D. (Lisa) Arrowood of FL.  Two granddaughters:  Elizabeth A. Morgan and Aja R. Arrowood.  Three great grandchildren:  Scarlett A. Dennison, Randalee P. Morgan, Violet L. Wright.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Long, Roger Turner officiating and Eulogy by Harrison Truman Ward, Jr.   Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of service.  Burial in the Stamper- Spicer-Turner Cemetery at Canoe, KY.    Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
