Alvin Herald, age 69, of Wolfcoal, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his residence.–He was born November 27, 1948 in Breathitt County, KY and was the son of the late Ollie James and Elizabeth (Collins) Herald.–He also was preceded in death by one sister: Julie Turner.–He is survived by his wife: Sarah Collins Herald of Wolfcoal, KY–One daughter: Teresa Gail (Leonard) Raleigh of Wolfcoal, KY–Three sons: Michael (Tenille) Herald of Lost Creek, KY;-James Herald and Alvin Thomas Herald of Wolfcoal, KY–Three sisters:  Eula Herald Cole of Whick, KY–Thelma Lewis and Betty Sue Gross of Jackson, KY–Four brothers: Thomas (Martha) Herald of Wolfcoal, KY–Bill (Sandra Kay) Herald of Altro, KY–Jessie James Herald of Jackson, KY–Earl Glenn Herald of Campton, KY–Five grandchildren:- Luke Aaron Baker,- Timmy Branson,- Dustin Deaton, Sarah Leann Coomer, -Michelle (Raymond) Turner.–Four great grandchildren: Jasmine Coomer,  Hunter Lee Coomer  and Verlin Herald and Imani Turner.–Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Turner’s Creek Church of Christ with Paul Hall and Albert Little officiating.–Burial in the Herald and Hall Cemetery at Talbert, KY–Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.–Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.–Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
