Isaac “Ike” McQuinn, age 71, of Jackson, KY passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1945 at Noctor, KY and was the son of the late Jesse and Gracie (Caudill) McQuinn. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Catherine McQuinn and Easter McQuinn; Three brothers: Tom Eddie McQuinn, Johnny McQuinn and Joe Rita McQuinn. One grandson: Joshua Eugene Gabbard. He was a retired mechanic at Falcon Coal Company. He is survived by his wife: Wanda R. (Swartz) McQuinn of Jackson, KY whom he married on January 2, 1986. Two daughters: Cindy McQuinn and Melissa McQuinn of Jackson, KY. One son: Darrell McQuinn of Jackson, KY. Two step daughters: Kim (Mike) Brumbaugh of Bradner, OH; Margenia (Scott) Knopf of Fort Meyer, FL; Two step sons: Gary (Teresa) Swartz of Georgetown, KY and Kendall Swartz of Hiriam, Maine. Five sisters: Nannie Jean Burton, Jackie Lou Reed, Mary Ann (David) Turner, Linda McIntosh and Brenda Barger of Jackson, KY. Four brothers: James McQuinn; Ernie (Donna) McQuinn and Bobbie (Vicki) McQuinn of Jackson, KY; Jessie Bevoy (Brindle) McQuinn of Watts, KY. Three granddaughters: Tabitha Swartz, Jennifer Hardin and Ashley Walczak. Three grandsons: Christopher Swartz; Koby Swartz and Jason Swartz. Four great grandchildren: Olivia Hardin, Peyton Hardin, Avery Walczak, and Noah Conner. Special friends: Eva Adams and Doug and America Richardson. A host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Carl McIntosh officiating. Burial in the Haddix Cemetery, Inc. Haddix, KY. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
