Mary Elizabeth (Allen) Childers, age 62, of Frankfort, KY passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY. She was born Sept. 13, 1953 in Knox, IN and was the daughter of the late Frank and Imogene (Lovins) Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband: Melvin Childers: Two sisters: Josephine Allen and Angela Hurt and one infant sister. Four brothers: Michael Allen, Eddie Allen, Bud Allen and John Allen. She is survived by three daughters: Melinda Clemons of Lexington, KY. Patricia (Virgil) Bowling of Jackson, KY. Crystal Clemons of Frankfort, KY. Two sons: Ottis (Alisa) Clemons of Jackson, KY. William George Lovins of Jackson, KY. One sister: Cheryl Allen of CT. One brother: Bill Allen of Hawaii. A host of step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held on Wed. July 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Burial in the Clemons-Ritchie Cemetery, Elkview, Jackson, KY. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Deaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
